Grand Highlands Wins PACE Award

Each fall the Asheville Homebuilders Association holds a competition for the Community of the Year award. Grand Highlands was one of numerous entries for the 2013 competition which is judged by a panel of outside experts. The 2013 award for Community of the Year was awarded to Grand Highlands at Bearwallow Mountain in the presentation gala held in October.

Dean Anderson, the developer representative for Grand Highlands accepted the award. He remarked “We are grateful to the Asheville Homebuilder’s Association for this award. Grand Highlands is a unique combination of a prairie on a mountaintop. I came from Colorado for a week consulting job, but after seeing Grand Highlands, I stayed and here I am five years later preaching the wonder of this beautiful place. We are happy that the judges were able to experience first hand the “Sound of Music” panorama of this particular mountain, and we invite you all to visit and experience the same sense of wonder”

Thanks Dean, we could not agree more.
