Hendersonville, NC—October 1, 2007—Summerset Inc. hosted a festive autumn affair on Saturday, September 29, 2007 to celebrate the change of seasons and cooler temperatures while inviting the local community to Bearwallow Mountain to enjoy some entertainment, sparkling sunset views and casual conversation with family and friends. Over 150 people attended the first Bearwallow Mountain Music & Mingle.
It was the perfect evening to showcase the property as blue skies stretched for miles, the panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains were impeccably clear and the feeling of fall was all around. Guests enjoyed such flavorful fare as homemade barbequed hamburgers and hotdogs with all of the trimmings, tasty sides and mouth watering desserts. The event was complemented by live music performed by the Solid Country Band, pumpkin painting, hayrides, s’mores, family activities and fun. The day came to a close with a bonfire, marshmallow roast and recollections of growing up on or around the mountain and enjoying the simple pleasures of hiking, biking, and relaxing as recounted by guests. “It was a pleasure to host this event and to hear the stories as told from the people who have experienced all that the mountain has to offer, as well as, to introduce new people to the area.
